The beast in all it’s glory!
The project I’ve been working on for Ursuline College all month long wrapped itself up along with September. The project was following our instagirl through her time at U.C. and each individual square was posted daily on Instagram. It was quite an adventure and learning experience for everyone involved, but the end product came out nice!
I pretty much feel like I just finished running a marathon, and would like nothing more than to pass out and sketchbook for the next couple of weeks but I’ve got one last job for Ursuline and some commissions lined up, so back to my tablet I go!!
I’ll be at SPX 2014 table K1A!
I’ll have comics, mini comics, graphic novels, and some tote bags! I’ll be there with my good pal Ginette Montoya (gin-draws) who will be helping me sell my books and hopefully she’ll bring a few of her own.
Look out for my sign of the giant orange astronaut! Feel free to stop by, say hi, and trade some comics.
If you’re going to SPX look out for the amazingly talented Claire (thinkillustration). Chances are I’ll be sitting next to her making little watercolors and/or eating clementines.
So come say hello!! :D
I’ve been doing a whole bunch of work for Ursuline College in Cleveland.
It’s been lots of fun making this “Instagirl” character that they’ve been using to promote their school’s social media pages. Once it’s all done, I’ll have done a total of 40 images for them.
So here’s two to show I’m still alive in the meantime :D
So here’s two to prove I’m still alive!
I feel like Hieronymus Bosch. This is the job I’m working on zoomed in to 200%.
I have to put a ton of tiny people onto this map, so I figured why not sneak in a few personal easter eggs? That’s me and fayerogers reading some Harry Potter under a tree…
I have 40 illustrations due in a span of 3 weeks…. Yup!
So you know, here are some sketches to prove I’m alive..
